We supply mp3+g karaoke tracks as digital downloads...
We supply karaoke tracks as digital downloads in mp3+g format (in a zip file). This is the standard format for digital karaoke tracks with lyrics.
Each song is downloaded as a zip file and within the zip file is two files – a music file (.mp3) and a file containing the on-screen lyrics/graphics (.cdg). Both files are named identically like this:
Zoom Karaoke – Dancing Queen – Abba.mp3
Zoom Karaoke – Dancing Queen – Abba.cdg
Most karaoke software players require the files to have identical filenames otherwise they will not play. If you rename the files, you must make sure that both files have the same name. The .mp3 and .cdg extensions are always different. You can download a free karaoke player here.
The karaoke tracks available from our download service are from the world’s leading karaoke software manufacturers - currently Zoom Karaoke and Sunfly Karaoke. They are professional studio re-creations – NOT the original singers or musicians. Backing vocals are included where they appear on the original.
A 30 second audio sample is available for each track so you can preview it before you buy it.
